The Eling Experience
Wednesday to Sunday every week, 10.00am to 4.00pm at Eling Tide Mill.
The Eling Experience is a great half day tourist attraction. Eling Creek is, situated at the head of Southampton Water, where you can see tidal power used to mill flour on a daily basis.
Just over the road from the Mill is the Totton & Eling Heritage Centre, which shows the history of the area from Bronze Age days to the present day. You can even sit in an air raid shelter and experience the sound of bombs dropping all around you.
All around the area are interesting historical and ecological walks with views over the water and there is a new pirate play ship in the picnic area.
Eling Church is also well worth a visit being one of the oldest in the New Forest.
You can finish your visit off with a snack and drink at the Eling Creek Tea Rooms with its excellent new and exciting menu.

MAGNA MAZDA British Pedal Car Grand Prix
Sunday 11th July 2010
Crowds gather from 12.00pm
Race Starts a 2.00pm and runs for 2 hours, prize giving at 4.15pm

This amazing event is held on closed roads in the town centre of Ringwood, the two hour sprint race is something everyone should do at least once or a the very least come along as a spectator.
Crowds of over 10,000 stream in to Ringwood to experience the rasamatz, the enthusiastic commentary, the atmosphere of a Sunday afternoon’s madness with wacky races the unique British Pedal Car Grand Prix.
Four drivers are allowed per car and there are classes for juniors (under 16’s) and seniors.
The circuit is flat out for most of the way with just two corners of note during the 1.4km lap.

Highland Road Cemetery - Information Day and Tour
3rd Sunday of the month April to September 2010, 12 noon. Tour starts at 2.00pm

The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch

Milford Carnival 2010
Saturday 28th August 2010 at Milford on Sea.
Held on the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend, the Milford Carnival is popular with residents and visitors, with attractions on the village green and a procession of floats and entries led by the Carnival Queen and her attendants. Prizes are awarded for the best entries in each class.
This year the theme will be Children's TV. shows which can include anything from Muffin the Mule to Waybuloo.
Also this year the Carnival Queen will be selected from one of Milford's elegant Grandmothers with her Grandchild as attendant.
