Winchester Cathedral Exhibition - THE TREASURES OF HYDE ABBEY
Monday 15th February to Sunday 28th March 2010.
EXHIBITION: RE-IMAGINING THE TREASURES OF HYDE ABBEY
An intriguing exploration of contemporary works by artists from a catchment area drawn from the vast estates of Hyde Abbey, Winchester, when it was first built 900 years ago.
The Cathedral, the Discovery Centre and the University are all hosting aspects of this exhibition of new work by gifted students and professional artists. Illuminated manuscripts, ceramics, sculpture, painting, video installation, textiles and artists' books are amongst the varied and fascinating works.

Tiny Social Club - Clubbing for kids and parents
Sunday 28th February 2010 and Last Sunday of every month, 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
The monthly club is a fun-packed disco extravaganza for kids up to 8 years, and their parents on Sunday afternoons from 1pm-4pm. Each month there will be a new theme. At each event there will be professional face painters, balloons and goody bags, crafts, a dressing up box, musical instruments, a dancing competition, dance routines, and a chill out room. Clubbers are encouraged to dress up.
Birthday parties are catered for with a private room, food and cake. There is a nappy changing area. For the adults the bar is open, and great food is available.
